Pete Makes Games is, and you are not going to believe this, a website about a guy named Pete making games. Or trying to. I'm still very new to this, but I have the following qualities that I think are invaluable:

• I'm pretty good at learning new things;
• I'm creative; and
• I'm not smart enough to give up on an idea.

Currently, I'm developing Just Beneath the Holler, a Zelda-inspired game set in rural Appalachia. Later, who know? It'll likely take me a decade to finish JBtH.

I'm a parent, husband, and high school chemistry teacher. I'm from Appalachian Kentucky and I grew up reading about UFOs, aliens, and cryptids. I've toyed with the idea of making games for years but only began in earnest recently.
