Monday Map Out - 12/29/2025

It’s the last week of my holiday break and my goal is to make it count. I’ve been getting up at 3:45 AM every morning during break to work on Just Beneath the Holler and that habit may be the only thing that’ll keep me working on the game once school starts back next Monday. I fully anticipate slowing down once I’m back in the classroom, but I don’t plan to stop completely.

My goals for this week are:

  • Finish and polish “The Place Just Beneath” into a complete, catchy song;
  • Add knockback/cooldown to Zel’s and the enemies’ finite state machines; and
  • Make a sprite for Zel that doesn’t look like an orange slab of grinning death.

Her left leg is slightly wider than the right. If I had to see it, you had to see it.
